Our Programs
Project-Based Grants
B-Side Arts Project-Based Grants provide early-career artists with up to $5,000 in funding to support the development and execution of creative projects across disciplines. These grants are designed to empower artists by giving them the financial resources needed to bring an ambitious idea to life—whether that’s producing new work, staging performances, creating installations, or launching community-driven initiatives.
Our goal is to support projects that not only push artistic boundaries but also foster collaboration, innovation, and community impact. These grants will prioritize applicants making less than ~$20,000 from their work, but creatives from all backgrounds and levels of experience are encouraged to apply, as long as they have a clear vision and a plan for making it happen.
Grant recipients gain more than just funding—they are paired with experienced mentors who provide guidance throughout the project and participate in a community showcase at the end of the program, offering a platform to share their work with a broader audience. They also join a network of like-minded creatives and receive access to professional development opportunities. Through this program, B-Side Arts aims to fuel artistic growth and help artists navigate the business side of their practice without sacrificing their creative vision.
Our inaugural application will be available in August 2025. These applications will be evaluated based on artistic merit, project feasibility, and potential impact. We look for bold ideas and thoughtful execution, prioritizing projects that engage audiences in meaningful ways. With this support, we hope to help artists turn their passion into work that inspires and endures.
Workshops
B-Side Arts offers practical, hands-on workshops designed to help artists master the business side of their creative practice. Our workshops cover essential topics like taxes, branding, and budgeting—equipping artists with the entrepreneurial abilities to turn their creative vision into a lasting reality.
Led by industry professionals and experienced creatives, these sessions break down complex concepts into accessible, actionable steps. Whether you’re learning how to manage your finances, define your brand, or plan for long-term growth, our workshops provide real-world strategies tailored to the unique needs of artists.
Participants also join a community of like-minded creatives, exchanging ideas and building networks that support their artistic and professional journeys. With B-Side Arts, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to navigate the business of art without compromising your creative vision.
